,PeekaBoom,Verbocity, are all part of an Open Source Community Online gaming project that solves a problem the web faces with handicap accessibility. The problem: Millions of picture images online are not properly labeled. The Result: Any sight impaired users encountering these images aren't able to access these them properly rendering a sub par online world. The task of correctly labeling all of these would take tremendous resources that don't exist. The Solution: Have a bunch of good hearted programmers write some algorithm based games turning these tasks into games, instantly forming a work force of online gamers. So the next time you think about wasting some time playing solitaire do a little good in the world and make the world a little better place to the handicapped people in it. And don't forget to label your images correctly from now on !
